Web TwitterThis garden has absolutely thrived, despite the plants stock only being in the ground for three months, all is putting on good growth. The enormous amounts of rain and early summer warmth have certainly helped.

he mixed native and beech hedges are growing and the trees have flowered and now putting on their fruit. The mesh screening fixed to the post and rail fencing has now truly blended into the background and is successfully holding back the grasses and encroaching weeds of the neighbouring field.

The extended patio to the front of the garden has settled and blended in and the picket fence is beautifully adorned by the sweet peas. The magnificent Acer looks simply stunning in the large matte black square planter and contracts beautifully with the paler tones of the patio pavers which match the black timber cladding of the house.

The lavender hedge at the entrance to the garden is in bloom and the perfume from the scent border is exquisite. The garden is full of butterflies, hover flies and bees, enjoying the roses, Lavender, Wallflowers and Nepita. A haven for pollinators!

I am delighted to see the broadest smile on my clients’ faces, is matched only by my own as we walk around the garden taking in all the change and abundance of grown on a summer’s day in late June.

Still so much more to come and I shall look forward to visiting again in the autumn, very much! A joy of a project to work on.
