We had a brilliant workshop this week because we took our young plants out of the classroom, that we had planted in our first bulb planting workshop back in December 2012 and planted them out in the Welcome Centre’s garden.
Great to see the group so engaged in this activity and bring so much life and purpose into the garden, which has been looking a bit neglected over the past few months. By planting up their young bulbs, mostly Crocus, Aconites and Fritillaria, we’ll have great reason to bring focus to the garden and encourage interest by other service users watching what we are up to.
Next week, we are pot washing and sowing seeds. We are so very grateful to the generous folk who very kindly gifted us seeds! We can’t wait to get stuck in.
Until next week, happy gardening!
