Ten days before the Dingly Dell launch party and I am soo excited.. I am not alone in preparations because my lovely client Rita, who has very kindly offered her garden is also co-hosting the event with me. With a plan of action in place we can now bring it all together, next on my ‘to do’ list is get confirmation of guest numbers along with a visit to IKEA to top up on glasses!

After making the initial application for the Dingly Dell Trademark back in January this year (2012) I am delighted to announce that the TM is mine and ‘Dingly Dell’ is now launched to the world! I think I might even get the certificate framed.. bonkers I know, but it means a great deal to me to have realised my vision and have it become sought after and so appreciated by clients.

In preparation for the Dingly Dell launch I have been putting in extra hours in Rita’s garden because I know it must look its very best.. I am positively willing the plant’s burgeoning growth in the Dingly Dell to put on as much as they can, in time for the evening. One of the feature plants is Callicarpa bodinieri var. Giraldii ‘Profusion’ coming into flower now, which means the beautiful bronze purple berries are on their way for the autumn months, perfect!

At the event I shall be giving out my flyers which features the beautiful artwork of graphic artist Susan Holmes, sadly she can’t join us for the evening as she is based in N.Ireland and we’ll be in Winchmore Hill.. but she’ll certainly be with us in spirit.. pun intended and I hope that clients and friends will want to commission her to paint their own Dingly Dells when they reach their beautiful maturity.

Right, it’s time for me to get ready for today’s clients.. let’s hope we see the sun again..
